Weyerhaeuser Realty Investors Hires New Vice President, Investor Capital

SEATTLE - Weyerhaeuser Realty Investors (WRI), a provider of institutional capital for project financing for homebuilders and developers, has hired Ben Conwell as vice president, investor capital.

Conwell comes from Quadrant Homes, where he most recently served as vice president for Northwest Communities, overseeing the development of Quadrant's large master planned communities in the Puget Sound area. In 20 years with Quadrant, Conwell held positions in finance, development and sales of land and income properties.

Conwell holds a master's in business administration from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and a bachelor's of science from the University of Richmond.

WRI is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Weyerhaeuser Real Estate Company, the 15th largest public homebuilder in the country as measured by closings. WRI has operated for 37 years as a provider of institutional capital for project financing for mid-to-large homebuilders and developers in major metropolitan areas. WRI is based in Seattle, Wash., with regional offices in California, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Illinois and Virginia.
