Manufacturing shingles since 1954, Shakertown is now offering their Craftsman Cedar Shingle Panels with specially placed grooves on the back to allow rain and condensation, as well as air, to flow both horizontally and vertically, channeling moisture away from the wall and down to the ground. The result is increased protection against the damaging effects of moisture.

Independently tested to the ASTM E2273-03 Standard Test Method for Determining Drainage Efficiency, Craftsman Cedar Shingle Panels with Rain Screen technology exceed 98% efficiency.

Shakertown Craftsman One-Course Cedar Shingle Panels with Rain Screen technology are manufactured 8 feet long and are available in a 7" exposure size. The panels also include a full plywood back, a thick 3/8" shingle butt and overlocking end-joints for a seamless appearance. Panels can be ordered in natural, primed white, or pre-finished with a semi-transparent oil stain in one of four colors: Pasadena Green, Beach Grey, Redwood or Natural Beige.
