Conventional swimming pools use a lot of chemicals and energy. Natural swimming pools not only use no chemicals but the use very little energy. They enhance bio-diversity and swimming is relaxing. One of the first such natural swimming pools is in Our Native Village Hessarghatta near Bangalore. We hope more such swimming pools will come up in India.
